Marion Restoration has already completed several projects that were designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, and we have become familiar with materials that have been used in his properties. In our portfolio you can find completed works of the Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation Trust, George Furbech House, Louis B. Frederick House, and recently we have finished works at Arthur B. Heurtley House.
Historic and modern era decorative concrete top coats at the home’s belt courses, caps, and water tables have failed in areas. We’ve applied the material testing and matching with US Heritage Group and have completed working on concrete top coating. Material analysis executed by US Heritage Group replicated the color and texture of the original finish while creating a product and recommending a process with better adhesion.
