Project description:

Strauss House is listed on the National Register for its excellent example of French Revival architecture and contributing Modern pool house. The house and historic garage/apartment were designed in 1921 and 1924 by David Adler (1882-1949), who is generally regarded as the Chicago area’s foremost country house architect of his generation.

For this particular project we removed deterioration from south facing wall of rear stairs, installed 6” of concrete restoration patching, installed stainless steel flashing with drip edge on 25 concrete fence piers. 2 caps at piers were reset with stainless steel anchoring system.
