Project description:
The original common brick faces were once sandblasted. That destructive technique removed the brick protective fire skin, and the parging. In addition, the mortar joints were tuckpointed in the 1970 utilizing inappropriate Portland cement. We have removed cement mortar from all joints and rebuilt unstable masonry. Also, the original penciling has been recreated.
